Lift Plan It is software for planning crane lifts. Before a load leaves the ground, somebody has to establish that this crane, in this configuration, at this radius, can carry it safely. Lift Plan It turns that work from spreadsheets and paper charts into an interactive plan.
Who it is for
It is for crane and lifting teams who plan lifts regularly and need the plan to be both right and quick to produce. The software is a planning tool; as its own site says, it does not replace the verified lift plan.
How it works
The team imports its crane configurations and sets up its licence. A planner then builds the lift plan on an interactive range chart, which plots lifting capacity for the chosen boom configuration and shows the safe lifting zones. Several people can work on the same plan at once, the documents behind each lift are stored centrally, and the finished plan is exported to share.
It runs on desktop, tablet and phone, so a plan made in the office can be opened beside the crane.
