Carnival

A dashboard for managed cloud infrastructure.

A dashboard for managed cloud services: each service with its nodes, plan and cloud region, and beside it events, members, VPC, integrations, billing and credits.

What it is

Carnival is the console for a managed cloud data platform: the screen where a team creates and looks after hosted services such as Apache Kafka, PostgreSQL, MySQL and Elasticsearch without running the servers themselves.

02

Who it is for

It is for developers and operations teams. The work the console has to make simple is choosing the right service, size and region, and then seeing at a glance what is running and what it costs.

03

How it works

After signing in, the user lands on their current services, each with its nodes, plan, cloud region and status, searchable by name, plan, cloud and tag. Creating a service is a guided sequence: pick the service, the cloud and region, the plan, any extra disk space and a name, then confirm against a summary with an estimated monthly price.

Each service opens into its own overview with network, metrics, logs and users, and for Kafka its topics, access control, connectors and schemas. Around the services are the project's events, members and roles, VPC, integrations, billing and credits. The linked build runs on sample data.
