Flapjack

What it is

Flapjack is a design editor made for one document: the restaurant menu. An owner picks a professionally designed template, changes the dishes, prices and look in the browser, and downloads a file ready to print or share.

02

Who it is for

A menu changes more often than almost anything else a restaurant prints — a price, a seasonal dish, an item that ran out. Flapjack is for owners and managers who need to make that change themselves, the same day, without a designer and without design software.

How it works

The app opens on the template library. The user signs in with a phone number and a verification code, or by email, chooses a template and edits it in an editor built on IMG.LY's CE.SDK. Menus are saved to the account so the next change starts from the current version, and downloads are high-resolution and free of watermarks.
