Resumas

Gets job seekers past applicant-tracking systems.

A job seeker's platform built around the applicant-tracking systems that screen résumés by keyword. Users optimize a résumé for each job they apply to, build one from scratch, generate content for their LinkedIn profile, and get daily local job listings — on iOS, Android and the web.

01

What it is

Resumas calls itself a job seeker's platform. At its centre is a résumé optimizer: it compares a résumé with a specific job description and reworks it so that the applicant-tracking system screening the applications can see the match.

02

Who it is for

It is for people applying and hearing nothing back. Applicant-tracking systems filter résumés by keyword before a person reads them, so a qualified applicant with the wrong wording never reaches a hiring manager. Resumas is built for that gap, including for US government roles, which have a résumé format of their own.

03

How it works

The user builds a résumé in the free builder or uploads one, then adds the job they are applying for. Resumas extracts the skills the job asks for, standardises the job title, adjusts the keywords and returns a match score. From the same material it writes a cover letter and content for a LinkedIn profile.

A job finder, a certification finder and an application dashboard sit alongside, and the result exports as PDF, Word or text. It runs on the web, iOS and Android.
